Gulrez 'Gus' Khan
Healthcare entrepreneur, author, former pro athlete, philanthropist. Fighting for Texas—reviving 25 closed rural hospitals, economy, secure borders, term limits, Energy Dominance, Election Integrity.
I support pro-growth policies: fair reciprocal tariffs, American manufacturing incentives, and deregulation to create jobs and lift wages. The federal government’s role is to protect free markets, ensure opportunity, and remove barriers, not punish success, so all Texans—especially low- and middle-income families—can prosper.
I support secure borders, strong enforcement of immigration laws, and ending chain migration abuses. At the same time, we should streamline legal immigration for skilled workers and families, improve processing efficiency, and ensure the system is fair, orderly, and humane—protecting Texans while rewarding those who follow the rules.
I will fight to uphold the Constitution, support term limits, and hold the executive and judiciary accountable to the law. I will oppose federal overreach, ensure Congress enacts laws that serve the people—not bureaucrats—and restore power to states, communities, and citizens while protecting individual freedoms.
HEALTHCARE: What role should the federal government play in promoting a healthy American population, and what steps would you take to ensure that healthcare is affordable and accessible for all Americans?
The federal government should remove barriers, reduce bureaucracy, and empower patients and providers, not control care. I will expand access to primary care, home based and palliative care, and revive the 25 rural Texas hospitals closed in the last 20 years, ensuring affordable, accessible healthcare while letting Texans make their own decisions.
